IB warnings about 'clipping'
Reported by Brandon Walkin | August 28th, 2009 @ 01:17 AM
Hey,
I'm not sure if this is something that's my fault or not.
IB is giving me warnings about "This view is clipped by its
superview" for anchored buttons placed into the anchored button
bar.
I get additional warnings of "This view overlaps one of its
siblings" if I try to get the anchored buttons in the bar to 'snug
up against each other'.
The sibling one may be understandable - tho I really don't want a
double-thickness like between buttons right beside each other (not
sure if some sort of a "button set" control would do here.
However, the superview clipping one is (as far as I can tell)
beyond my control.
I've got such a wonderfully silent build that any time a warning
comes up it's really jarring ... it would be great if I could
eliminate them.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Trevor

This can be fixed if I redo how Anchored Button Bars and Anchored Buttons work. You would add anchored buttons to an anchored button bar using the button bar's inspector (like a segmented control).
I might do this in the future.
