Add ability to change color of hyperlink button

Reported by Mike Chambers | January 5th, 2010 @ 11:49 PM

It does not appear to be possible to set the Text Color for BlackBWHyperlinkButton via interface builder.

All other font properties, such as font family, size and bold can be set, but the font color appears to be hardcoded in BlackBWHyperlinkButtonCell (and ignored in Interface Builder).

The only way to set it appears to be to subclass BlackBWHyperlinkButton, and then override _textAttributes. This works, but is a hassle as it requires code, and results in some compiler warnings (but it compiles fine):

  • (NSDictionary )_textAttributes { NSMutableDictionary attributes = [super _textAttributes]; [attributes setObject:[NSColor blackColor] forKey:NSForegroundColorAttributeName];

    return attributes; }
