BWGradientBoxInspector Attributes Tab Won't load

Reported by Ty | August 26th, 2010 @ 01:18 AM

The Attributes tab for BWGradientBoxInspector will not load all other panels seem to be fine. Using BWToolkit 1.2.5 compiled from source on Leopard 10.5.8 and IB 3.1.2. Here is the error from Console:

-[BWGradientBoxInspector awakeFromNib]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1338d5b0

I had the same problem with BWToolkit 1.2.5 on MacOSX 10.5.8 PPC and Xcode 3.1.4. The problem is at line 26 in BWGradientBoxInspector.m, "[super awakeFromNib];". The call to super's awakeFromNib is invalid since the superclass IBInspector does not implement its own awakeFromNib method. Perhaps this was changed in Snow Leopard. Commenting out line 26 and recompiling will fix the problem of the attributes inspector tab not loading. However, that raises another problem although this new one is only cosmetic. It occurs when changing the "Fill" pop-up button's selection from "Solid Color" to "None" or when changing it from "Gradient" to "None". When changing to "None" either the "Solid Color" color well or the "Gradient" gradient well will slide up under the pop-up button and still be partially visible instead of being hidden. Moving between "Solid Color" and "Gradient" is fine.
